Venture Capital & Emerging Growth Associate – 5 Legal, Boston, MA Top AmLaw 100 national law firm seeks an associate to join its Venture Capital and Emerging Growth Practice Group in the Kansas City or Boston office. Responsibilities The associate will focus on private company and investment fund representation, including venture capital financings, general corporate matters, and exit transactions as applicable, and will be given a significant opportunity to work directly with clients. Qualifications Minimum 1+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture and other financings, corporate governance, joint venture, private equity, capital markets, and/or other complex commercial transactions. Candidates with 3+ years of solid experience are also considered. Exposure to emerging growth companies and venture capital is a plus but not required. High level of academic achievement.
