Sales Manager

Our client is a manufacturer of organic and conventional food ingredients - fruit & vegetable powders, juice powders, plant proteins, and freeze-dried fruits and vegetables - to supplement brands and food & beverage manufacturers across North America. Here is what makes this role different from the last ingredient sales job you looked at: we own our supply chain. 2,700 certified-organic acres our family has farmed since 1999 - organic vegetables good enough to be chosen for the Beijing Olympic Games, twice (2008 and 2022). Three processing facilities covering air-dry, spray-dry, freeze-dry, extraction, plant protein and IQF, certified to BRC (A rating), ISO 22000, HACCP and Kosher, passing major-brand supplier audits. Inventory on both U.S. coasts. A new processing facility coming online in Utah. And a freeze-dried ingredient business that signed several major programs in 2026 and is still accelerating. You already know this industry - whether that is the Utah supplement corridor, the Southern California food and beverage market, or the Midwest food-manufacturing corridor. You have relationships you have built over years. What you may not have had is a supply chain behind you that can actually win on audit capability, documentation, price, and delivery at the same time. That is what we bring. What you'll do Own your territory: supplement brands, contract manufacturers, and food companies in your home cluster - Utah / the Mountain West, Southern California, or the Midwest - depending on where you are based and where your relationships are Spend most of your week where you belong - in front of customers. This is a field sales role built around in-person relationships Land new accounts and grow them into long-term programs (powders, proteins, juice powders, freeze-dried) Represent the company at SupplySide West, Expo West, and regional industry events What we're looking for 2+ years of sales experience in dietary supplements, nutritional ingredients, or food ingredients Established relationships with supplement brands, contract manufacturers, and/or food manufacturers in the cluster where you are based - Utah / Mountain West, Southern California, or the Midwest food-manufacturing corridor A track record you can talk about specifically - accounts opened, programs won, numbers grown Self-directed and disciplined; you manage your own calendar and territory Comfortable working with international supply chains; familiarity with organic certification, audits, and ingredient documentation a strong plus We offer a competitive base salary along with uncapped commissions, mileage reimbursement, company supplied credit card, laptop, cell phone plan, monthly health insurance allowance, 401K, PTO, and more.
