Our company, a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow our business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the grocery or retail sector and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-oriented individual who thrives on challenges and is passionate about building relationships and driving business growth. Responsibilities:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the grocery and retail sectors to drive company growth.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies to increase market penetration and profitability.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a strong pipeline for future business.
- Monitor and report on market trends, sales activities, and business performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the grocery or retail sector.
- Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and the grocery and retail sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and apply it to business development strategies.
- Self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, suppliers, and partners.
