Dishwasher- Part Time

DishwasherThe Dishwasher performs dishwashing duties in accordance with current applicable Health Department regulations and with established Benchmark policies and procedures. S/he performs these duties under the direction of the Dining Services Director or Cook.Principal Duties/Responsibilities:Empty and clean all kitchen garbage barrelsSweep floors, walk in freezer, refrigerator, and under all equipmentMop floors and clean out mop bucketClean all kitchen equipment, tables, and counters in accordance with established Health Department regulationsClean all stovetop grates and hood filetsCheck and clean grease trapsReport all safety incidents and accidents and all unsafe and unsanitary conditions immediately to supervisorClean inside of dishwasher, doors, and drainClean all sinks and disposals in the kitchenClean dishwashing areas and pot sinksClean food transportation cartsClean silverware, dishes, glasses, and all other kitchen and dining room accessories and equipment used in preparing meals being served to residentsStore all silverware, plate, and utensilsTake out trash, boxes, and pt liners back in trash barrelsWipe down and clean coffee, milk, juice, and ice-cream machines as well as all tables and countersWash all service cartsDeliver all soiled linen to laundry roomScrub and wash stovetopsMop elevatorsPerform other general kitchen duties as assignedAssist in putting orders away when requestedEducation/Experience/Licensure/Certification:High school diploma or equivalent.One-year dietary experience in a restaurant.Required Skills/Abilities:Must be able to interact effectively with residents and staff.Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
