Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room focusing on adult patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse array of emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and central line care.
• Monitor cardiac conditions and manage dysrhythmias.
• Implement triage procedures for incoming patients.
• Conduct risk assessments and care of ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold an active New York Single State RN license (not Compact).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• EPIC charting experience is essential.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency department setting.
• Experience in handling a patient ratio of 1:5 is preferred.
