Forklift Technician - 1st Shift

Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler/Truck to truck-to-truck technician at our Bristol, CT facility responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Clean Harbors’ facilities and direct generators.

Shift: 1st 5am-3pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
Day-to-day planning, transfer coordination, and execution of proper paperwork for Truck-to-Truck drum management
Monitors and ensures all key deadlines are met and proper follow-up is implemented to ensure proper drum transfer compliance requirements; ten (10) day compliance periods
Communication to proper management on issues related to compliance, DOT, and other issues that could impact the business and compliance

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

High School diploma or equivalent
Forklift experience
Shipping and receiving experience is a plus!
1 plus years work related warehouse or plant experience
Valid Driver's License
Good organizational and communication skills
Basic computer experience
Basic knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
