Make an immediate impact by supporting students with specialized health needs in a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract position offers the chance to apply your Licensed Vocational Nurse skills in a rewarding setting, working closely with educators and families to ensure a positive experience for every student.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active LVN license in California
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Previous experience providing G-Tube feeding required
- Ability to fulfill IEP-related nursing services
- Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and adaptability in school or pediatric settings
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver G-Tube feeding and monitor student health in accordance with the IEP
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to address student health needs
- Maintain accurate and timely health documentation
- Provide health education and guidance to school personnel as needed
- Ensure compliance with district protocols and healthcare regulations
- Respond calmly and effectively to medical emergencies
