Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Security Professional to represent our organization by providing leadership and responding to the needs of our employees in the field.

Must have 24/7 availability and position includes weekends

Ideal candidate will be capable of working independently to ensure that all Security Operations are running efficiently and in accordance with Company protocols and be able to step into open shifts as necessary to solidify Security Team. Additionally ideal candidate will have excellent supervisory skills, impressive ability to communicate well with others both verbally and in writing, and ability to think critically in any situation.

Specific Duties:

• Provides site coverage as needed to fill shift vacancies.

• Provide high level of support and assistance to employees in a courteous and professional manner.

• Conduct post inspections to ensure adherence to prescribed performance and appearance standards.

• Communicates with Management any pertinent information relative to ensuring proper service to clients, issues in operations, and non-routine incidents.

• Assist with the training of all employees in the field.

• Observe for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.

• Respond to emergency situations and/or alarms and contact appropriate emergency services based upon situation.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Position requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule – must have availability to work 1 st , 2 nd or 3 rd shift and ability to work weekends. HS Diploma/GED required, Associates Degree highly preferred.

• Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive Security experience required, previous supervisory experience highly preferred. Previous experience in Law Enforcement or Military Service applicable.

• Must posses a State Issued License as Security Officer

• Must have reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License as this is a mobile position.

  Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Good working knowledge of Security Operations.

• Understanding of supervisory methods.

• Understanding of safety practices in a business environment.

• Ability to provide high level of customer service.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Be computer proficient.

• Read, understand and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing in communicating with the public and co-workers, giving and receiving instructions

• High attention to detail.

• Ability to work in various environments including but not limited to adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, heat.
