The Senior FP&A Analyst supports finance practices and objectives that drive a high performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and ethics. This position will report to Director FP&A AEC and be part of a team chartered to provide cutting edge financial analysis to a growing business. Performing division-wide consolidated financial analysis and reportingPlanning and forecasting process control; includes financial models, templates, timelines, definition and trainingPrepare monthly / quarterly / annual financial reports and analytics for leadership team presentations on the performance of the company and operating business unit segments on a historical and forward-looking basis to include: revenue and income variance analyses, business segment / product line profitability measures, operating expense analyses, return on invested capital and cash flowAssist in the development and coordination of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.Completes special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests related to finance and budgeting activities as required by senior managementSupervisory responsibility: NoJob RequirementsQualifications/Characteristics Exposure to, and understanding of, aerospace & defense / manufacturing environment preferredStrong understanding of defense government compliance regulations a plusAbility to work independently and as a team member with minimal daily supervisionExperience driving technical financial processes, building financial models and influencing business decisions is preferred. Ability to form collaborative partnerships. Demonstrated success with diverse teams in a dynamic multi-national environment is a differentiatorStrong financial acumen with the ability to research and identify problems, develop proposals, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with othersCalculation and thorough analysis of financial performance metricsStrong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to drive decisions and execute effectively both long and short term projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSAP experience preferredHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExercise a high level of confidentiality and ethical standardsUp to 10% travelBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required, MBA desired6+ years financial experience; manufacturing environment preferredDirect financial planning & analysis (FP&A) experience preferredWorking Conditions Office environment, duties performed indoors, moderate to quiet noise and comfortable temperatures. Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental condition levels. Ability to work 24/7 schedule and be available as business situations require. Some may be able to do part of their work remotely.
