· Number of Beds – 44 beds

· Number of Staff – 95

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – Grid- 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNA, 1 HUC

o Night Shift – Grid- 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNA, 1 HUC

· Patient Ratios – 4/1 at grid 5/1 stretched

· Type of equipment – IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, Chest tube, Trachs, Patient lifts

· EMR - Cerner

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

· Neuro and Trauma Care experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Neuro and Trauma Care experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Neuro and spinal checks

· C-Collar placement, TLSO braces

· Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions

· Lumber drain

· Feeding tube placement

· Blood transfusion

· ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

· Stepdown units, Med-surg units
