Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Job Summary Lead, direct, and implement a comprehensive training program for assigned sports. Collaborate with sports coaches to meet the needs and vision of assigned teams. Assist with training of 16 NCAA Division 1 teams as needed. Assist in day‑to‑day and long‑term operations of strength and conditioning facilities in the stadium and fieldhouse. Collaborate with Strength and Conditioning Coaches to ensure best practices and implement them. Communicate with Athletic Training and other departments. Visual Acuity Requirements Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned; to make general observations of facilities or structures. Conditions The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside; extreme cold (temperatures typically below 32 °F for more than an hour); extreme heat (temperatures above 100 °F for more than an hour); noise sufficient to require shouting to be heard above ambient level; vibration from oscillating movements of extremities or whole body.
