OR RN - Brunswick, ME

Step into a pivotal role supporting high-acuity surgical care in a sophisticated operating room environment. As a Registered Nurse with a focus on the Operating Room, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional perioperative care to patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Choose from flexible schedule options: four 10-hour or four 12-hour shifts, with occasional weekend or call duty.


Schedule Options:

• 4x10 hour shifts or 4x12 hour shifts
• 7:00 am-7:30 pm (36 hours) or 7:00 am-5:00 pm (40 hours)
• Occasional weekends and call may be required
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and at least 2 years of experience in an OR setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS preferred; AORN certification a plus
• Proven experience with ENT, dental, plastics, pediatric, and Level 1 trauma patients
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment using technologies such as EPIC EMR
• Flexible, patient-focused, and collaborative attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and effective nursing care to pre-, intra-, and post-op surgical patients
• Adapt to a wide range of procedures including laryngoscopy, facial trauma, cochlear implants, complex oncologic, and oral surgeries
• Safely circulate and/or scrub as required by case and patient needs
• Ensure accurate documentation within EPIC and compliance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians to optimize patient outcomes
