Respiratory Therapy Supervisor

Role Summary Responsible for the coordination of clinical, management, and business activities by providing leadership for the delivery of patient care within the scope of practice defined by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board practice act. Supervises and facilitates the management of clinical practice and patient care delivery. Exercises management responsibilities through problem‑solving and collaboration both independently and as delegated by the Respiratory Director or Respiratory Manager. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or enrollment in an acceptable Bachelor's program within 6 months and attainment of a Bachelor's within 3 years of hire. Graduate of an approved Respiratory Program and certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. NBRC specialty certification within one year. Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Respiratory, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration. Required License and Certifications: North Carolina RCP License, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP. Required Experience: 3 years of recent, relevant clinical hospital experience in critical care or related area with demonstrated leadership skills.
