Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-8th grade populations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization abilities
• Ability to work on-site (teletherapy is not offered for this position)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services and conduct evaluations for a diverse caseload of K-8th grade students
• Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to track student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student records and progress reports
• Participate in problem-solving meetings and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school setting
• Stay informed with current best practices in school-based speech-language therapy
