We are currently hiring entry-level production technicians in our Pet Food Plant. Whether you are interested in the making of the product or working on one of our packing teams, we have a spot for you. What We’re Looking For: Manufacturing experience (preference for pet food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods) A proven track record of goodattendanceand consistent performancedeliveringconsistent safety and quality Capabilityto work well in a team environmentand be willing to help solve problems and implement solutionswith diverse employees Must be willing to be on shift (12-hour 2-2-3 shift rotation, fixed days or nights) Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company Safety Rules & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) Able to operate, performbasicphysical activities: climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms, and various equipment Capabilityto work well in a team environmentand be willing to help solve problems and implement solutions Must be able toeffectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents Mechanical interest and operational skills Able to learn new systems, record operational data and communicate results Track quality and waste metrics Education High School Diploma or GED required Why Smucker is the Placefor You You deserve apositiveandencouragingworkenvironment.
