Production Technician

Essential Job FunctionsOperate industrial equipment safely and productively.Lead/monitor processes and investigate causes of defects.Conduct visual inspection of productsReview procedures and processes and make adjustments as needed to improve operations.Achieve operator certification in all functions workedTrain new hire production associates in the manufacturing processes and procedures.Regular attendance, report to work on time for all scheduled shifts, and complete all shifts.Work overtime as required.Work cooperatively with others.Work with internal and external customers on quality issues.Generate and maintain appropriate records as required.Perform other reasonable tasks as required by Supervisor or Team Lead.Participate and embrace continuous improvement (LEAN) actions.Work and participate in a team environmentREQUIREMENTSEducation:High School diploma or GED requiredExperience:1-2 years of machine operator experience in industrial manufacturing or equivalent required, 3+ preferredOther Requirements:Punctual and consistent attendance requiredAble to work beyond required scheduled hours as neededWorks in a safe manner and in compliance with EHS polices and proceduresBe able to work independently or in a team settingAbility to complete ongoing training and developmentAbility to work 12-hour shifts or alternate work schedules (depending on the Plant to which assigned)Available to work afternoon shift or night shiftKEY COMPETENCIES**Results Oriented: **Strong work ethic, self-motivated with initiative and drive to complete -time and deliver excellent work product/service timely.
