Assembler

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $16.00 hourly. Position Responsibilities Read work orders to assemble components by hand or by using small hand operated equipment, which includes soldering. Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Maintain neat and orderly work areas and comply with all safety rules. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. 0-2+ years of assembly experience. Basic math skills—addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to work independently. Additional Qualification 80% of this job will be soldering, must have prior knowledge or the ability to learn the skill. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, perform frequent hand motion and repetitive tasks requiring hand‑eye coordination for assembling parts, occasionally reach overhead to perform various duties, stand frequently, walk occasionally for short amounts of time, and sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
