Automation QA Engineer

Role: Automation QA Engineer / QA Analyst
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite; occasional airport support)
Duration: 6 months
Location Restriction: Must currently reside in New York or New Jersey
Mandatory Skills

• 6-8+ years of overall QA experience
• 4+ years of Automation Testing experience
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred) or Java
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred)
• Experience with Selenium or UFT
• Strong API testing using Postman
• Cross-browser automation testing
• Automation framework development and maintenance
• CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) - good to have
• Mobile Web & Native App automation
• Agile/SDLC experience

Preferred Skills

• Playwright
• MABL
• API Automation
• Airline domain experience
• Postman collections, scripting, environment management
• GitHub Actions/Jenkins

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6-8+ years in QA with 4+ years in Automation
• Strong Playwright + JavaScript
• Excellent Postman/API testing experience
• Selenium/UFT background
• Experience creating reusable automation frameworks
• CI/CD exposure
• Mobile automation experience
• Comfortable with hybrid work and occasional airport suppor
