Travel Physical Therapist - $1,513 per week

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Holmdel, NJ Employment Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 30 hours per week (10-hour shifts) Location: Holmdel, New Jersey This position is an immediate travel opening for a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute care plans for patient populations. Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines for the facility Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations in the state Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use medical center computer systems in daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged); exceptional 1-year experience accepted BLS certification State-specific licensing Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment Compensation Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 30 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend.
