Job Responsibilities What You'll Be Engaged In

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory evaluationsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established protocols.
• Assess results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and preparation of samples for analysis, as needed.
• Meticulously document all processes, provide training for new staff or interns, and help uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace and comply with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Required Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, as well as ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within a year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment duration.
