Staff/Cost Accountant


Job Overview:


We are searching for a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team at ES Foundry. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in an accounting position with experience working in NetSuite ERP.

• Participate in the preparation and maintenance of internal and external financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP)
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accounts reconciliation and financial analysis
• Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data in NetSuite ERP.
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports.
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files as well as reconciling accounts.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and cost structures to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analysis for various departments.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to monitor inventory costs and oversee the valuation of inventory.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights into cost trends and support decision-making.
• Recommend corrective actions and improvements based on data analysis.
• Support financial closing processes, including month-end and year-end reporting. Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize resource allocation and cost management strategies.

• Knowledge of GAAP and relevant financial regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred
• 3-5 years' experience with general and cost accounting
• Experience with NetSuite ERP
