Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate (3–6 years) to join its growing New York office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated estate planning matters while gaining exposure to a truly national practice. Rather than focusing solely on one jurisdiction, you'll collaborate with experienced attorneys across multiple offices and have the opportunity to broaden your experience through multi-state planning matters. If desired, you'll also have the chance to visit and work alongside colleagues in other offices, expanding both your technical knowledge and professional network. What You’ll Do Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate and wealth transfer planning. Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other advanced estate planning documents. Handle estate and trust administration, probate proceedings, and transfer tax matters. Assist with charitable and philanthropic planning strategies. Work directly with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and other trusted advisors. Active New York Bar admission. Approximately 3–6 years of Trusts & Estates experience in private practice. Experience with sophisticated estate planning, estate administration, probate, and transfer tax matters. Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills. LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is a plus.
