What You'll Do

• Support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the cath lab
• Prepare the lab, equipment, and supplies for each procedure, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Document patient information and procedures meticulously in imaging and computer systems
• Assist with positioning and safety of patients throughout procedures
• Operate and maintain complex cath lab equipment, including ultrasound, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic systems
• Support physicians during interventions, including attending to equipment needs and maintaining sterile techniques
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient care and departmental workflow
• Serve as a resource for advanced procedures and technology, supporting ongoing staff training and precepting

What You Need

• Required:
• Associates degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or related healthcare field preferred
• 2+ years of lab or interventional radiology experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• PALS certification if working at pediatric facilities
• Certification: RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT-specific certifications needed
• Valid state license or registration as applicable
• Preferred:
• Experience with structural heart procedures, IABP, Impella, LVAD technology
