Registered Nurse NICU

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices and teamwork. They perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that involve patient and family participation. The RN directs care delivery through delegation and coordination, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions while managing resources effectively. They evaluate patient responses to care, adjust plans as needed, and promote professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting nursing development. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practice state; valid compact license transfer within 60 days if applicable BSN required within four years for RNs with less than 12 months of experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Skills in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and patient evaluation Key Duties Conduct patient assessments and gather multidisciplinary information Develop and update individualized care plans with patient, family, and team input Coordinate and delegate care activities across the healthcare team Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, revising plans as needed Maintain professionalism, legal, and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation Physical & Additional Requirements Ability to see, read, communicate effectively, and manipulate equipment Assist with patient transfers, transport, and equipment handling Stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods; may drive as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
