Location: VA Portland Health Care System locations in Portland, OR; Vancouver, WA; and Salem, OR.

Job Description

GD Resources LLC is seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists X-Ray to provide diagnostic imaging services for VA patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Operate fixed and portable radiographic equipment.
• Perform routine and complex X-ray examinations.
• Select appropriate exposure factors and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provide portable imaging throughout the medical center.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients, employees and visitors.
• Prepare examination rooms, contrast materials and required supplies.
• Maintain patient and examination records.
• Follow infection-control and safe-patient-handling procedures.
• Support after-hours and emergency imaging requirements as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating diagnostic radiology equipment under the direction of a radiologist or medical officer.
• Must have worked as an X-Ray Technologist in a hospital setting within the last 6 months .
• Must meet applicable ARRT-based radiologic technologist standards .
• Current BLS certification required under the overall contract requirements.
