Transfer Admissions Counselor

Description This position is responsible for managing the transfer recruitment and enrollment partnerships in collaboration with NC Community Colleges. Manage the programs, including all recruiting and yield activities. Articulates admissions policies and procedures to students, parents and counselors. Participates in University undergraduate admission recruitment activities, including college day/night programs, individual visits to post-secondary institutions, alumni meetings, and campus tour visitations. *This posting is intended to fill two vacancies in this classification, position #'s 002157 & 003044. Primary Function of Organizational Unit The primary function of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is to identify, attract, and enroll first year and transfer students with outstanding academic ability and potential. Internal job number 003044 Requirements Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Preferred Two or more years experience in Admissions or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field is preferred. Experience in community college partnerships.
