Sr Analyst, Pricing & Planning

Job Summary This role provides analytical support for pricing and inventory decisions. It involves detailed data analysis, strategic rate‑card assessments, and cross‑functional collaboration. The role optimizes inventory practices and plays a part in shaping pricing strategies, operating with minimal guidance. Responsibilities Analyzing pricing structures and market data to develop recommendations for advertising sales strategies Providing primary analysis for pricing and supporting cross‑functional teams with monetization insights Evaluating rate card effectiveness and advising on pricing methodology enhancements Utilizing and recommending improvements for inventory management tools to optimize usage Contributing feedback for system enhancements to streamline pricing and inventory processes Compiling and presenting yield reports to assist sales team initiatives and drive business decisions Coordinating data collection and analysis to support actionable recommendations on pricing and inventory Addressing ad‑hoc pricing and inventory queries and contributing to the refinement of related practices Collaborating with sales and marketing to analyze and adjust inventory levels based on forecasted demand Tracking industry pricing trends to maintain market positioning and inform strategic adjustments Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; must be able to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Skills: Analytical Thinking, Collaboration, Cross‑Functional Teamwork, Data Analysis, Pricing Strategies, Taking Initiative Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred; experience may be considered) Relevant Work Experience: 2-5 Years Certifications: (if applicable) – none listed Compensation and Benefits Primary Pay Range: $66,454.08 – $99,681.12 (base pay dependent on experience). This role may also be performed in New York City with a Pay Range of $60,412.80 – $108,743.04. Compensation is part of Comcast’s Total Rewards, which includes commissions for sales positions, bonuses for non‑sales positions, and a comprehensive benefits package.
