This is a pivotal position that goes beyond traditional finance leadership, as the successful candidate will be responsible for the company's finance and accounting operations, leading a high-performing team, and serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership. Key responsibilities include developing and analyzing financial statements, leading cash flow forecasting, and owning the annual budgeting process. The role also involves providing financial leadership to support company growth, overseeing financial controls, and managing complex intercompany accounting. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA or Master’s preferred. A CPA, CMA, or CFA is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction or manufacturing, particularly with extensive job costing experience. Hands-on expertise in financial processes such as WIP reporting, AIA billing, and intercompany accounting is essential. The role requires a proven leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams, experience with large ERP systems, and advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering. A forward-thinking mindset and an interest in leveraging AI and modern technology for financial analysis are also key qualifications.
