Part-Time Prep Cook
B2 Bistro + Bar | Red Bank, NJB2 Bistro + Bar is looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Prep Cook to support our kitchen team. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering quality food and excellent guest experiences.
Responsibilities- Prepare ingredients and menu components according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Chop, portion, and organize produce, proteins, and other items for service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked prep area and workstation
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper labeling/dating of prepared items
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with kitchen prep, cleaning, and closing duties
- Work effectively with fellow kitchen staff during busy periods
- Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
