Overview Banquet Chef Rumson Country Club is seeking a talented and dependable full-time Banquet Chef to join our culinary team. This position plays a key role in supporting our busy banquet, wedding, and golf outing operations. We are looking for a well-rounded chef who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can consistently execute high-quality cuisine for large-scale events. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and capable of working collaboratively under the direction of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace at all times Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a relevant position in the food industry Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff effectively Job Types Full-time Compensation Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Compensation details: 24-28 Hourly Wage #J-18808-Ljbffr A Hiring Company
