Area Human Resources ManagerAs the Area Human Resources Manager you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's success by supporting multiple facets of the Human Resources function, striving for innovation and strategic results in each area. The Area Human Resources Manager coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs. Will work with management to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations. Serves as a strategic HR Business partner by teaming with management to accomplish the overall company objectives. The Area Human Resources Manager will office onsite in Fort Worth and will also provide HR leadership support to the Orangeburg, SC location. This position will also serve as the Office Manager for Forth Worth, directing the work of three office team members.What You'll Do:Function as an integral member of the plant leadership teamManage the administration and implementation of Human Resource programsProvide guidance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving human resource issuesEnsure legal compliance, fairness and consistency in areas of employment, benefit administration, employee relations, training, and performance management and compensationProvide guidance to managers and supervisors in areas associated with HRLead community involvement activitiesLead local investigations and resolution of ongoing employee issues, anticipate issues, recommend and initiate resolutionsAdvise managers regarding compliance with Federal, State, and Local labor and employment lawsAdminister, interpret and explain company human resources policies, procedures & programsApply policies and procedures consistently to ensure equity of treatmentCoach and partner with employees, managers and leadership teams to foster a collaborative work atmosphereWork with management and leadership to address and resolve employee relations issues or concernsMaintain employment records and ensure confidentiality of employee medical recordsManage recruiting and onboardingConduct employee orientation and onboarding of all new employeesEnsure training for all employees (hourly and salaried) is being met and is consistent with corporate/facility needs. Record and maintain training recordsHandle activities in areas of responsibility including performance and talent management, succession planning, career progression, discipline and terminationsCoordinate with employees and managers for leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA, Military Leaves, etc.Partner with plant leadership for Annual HR Initiatives such as compensation planning, performance management, holiday events, employee recognition/appreciation, community outreach, etc.Understand and utilize HR systems including but not limited to ADP WorkforceNow and First Advantage Screening Services.Facilitate and manage defined programs on employee engagement, employee development, organizational changes and employee satisfaction initiativesTrack and review eligible employees for structured bonus programs and submit payment requestsUnderstand company benefits and effectively communicate benefit plan updates or changes during annual enrollmentAssist with Inventory for the facilityServe as the contact for all external vendors that are non-production relatedProvide reports, analysis, action plans, and documentation as requiredAdminister basic facility functions such as maintenance of office equipment, vending services, uniform services, etc.Administer the plant record retention programPerform routine office management duties and other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is strongly preferred5+ years' of Human Resources Management experience5+ years' experience with employee relations, training, performance management and legal complianceHR experience in a Manufacturing Environment is strongly preferredStrong organizational, communication, analytical, written/presentation skills and critical thinking skillsEfficiency with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applicationsExperience in ADP and NetSuite is desirableMust be able to lead and influence all levels of employeesMust be bi-lingual in SpanishAbility to travel to Orangeburg, SC ~ 10-15% of the time
