Matheny is a special hospital for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities. Our fully-accredited non-profit private school combines traditional academics with therapeutic intervention and pre-vocational skill development. Our Adult Services Program includes five licensed community residences/group homes and two adult learning centers. Matheny's Arts Access program empowers individuals with disabilities to create art without boundaries. Duties of this position include:

• Operates all equipment used in the fabrication or maintenance of adaptive equipment in a safe and proper way.

• Fabricates special equipment under the direction and guidance of the Head Technician.

• Follows departmental process for the completion of work requests.

• Documents work according to departmental procedures.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 - 27.00 per hour.

Position Requirements

Must complete at least 10 hours of rehabilitation-specific CEU’s annually.

Experience working on power and manual wheelchairs preferred.
