Immediate Job Opportunity for Packaging Technician

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Packaging Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Branchburg, NJ. Details of the position are as follows:


Job Description:

• Pay is $22/hr to start!!
• 6 - month assignment to start; will evaluate at 6 months on potential extension/conversion
• 1st and 2nd Shift Available
• Responsible for labeling, inspecting and packaging of final container products with manual and/or automated packaging systems.
• May also set-up, change-over and operate labeling and packaging equipment.
• Responsible for data entry and imprinting computer generated labels.
• Maintains records and manufacturing/production area to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/ GED is required.
• Experience with packaging operations and/or product inspections
• medical device manufacturing and other regulated industries is highly preferred,
• Familiarity with quality standards in production environments
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven settings
• Ability to follow SOPs and documentation requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accountability
• Product inspections and quality checks experience
