Associate Financial Operations Analyst (Hybrid in Kansas City, MO) Pollen/C2FO US Headquarters, 8880 Ward Parkway, 5th Floor, Kansas City, Missouri, United States of America About the Role The Associate Financial Operations Analyst serves as the portfolio manager to our enterprise clients, optimizing cash and yield settings. They take ownership of the assigned marketplaces, becoming familiar with the necessary technical settings and processes to handle day‑to‑day operations, while analyzing business trends, data signals, and models to maximize financial performance. The role works with cross‑functional teams to optimize performance, develop best practices, provide analysis and insight, and play a critical role in driving efficiency and managing risk. Responsibilities Manage cash and yield strategies for an assigned portfolio of enterprise clients. Plan, execute, and oversee operational activities for daily markets, continually improving processes and methodologies. Monitor market performance, analyze complex data, and identify opportunities for optimization. Influence client decisions to negotiate win‑win solutions and foster strong communication with stakeholders. Prepare and present internal and external reporting and analytics to drive strategic decision‑making. Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams globally to ensure seamless implementation, account growth, and process efficiency. Contribute to the design of internal tools and broader product enhancements for operational efficiency. Create enterprise client business cases and perform ad hoc analysis to support decision‑making. Provide support to global markets and teams when necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong business and financial acumen. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and navigate a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Analytical and problem‑solving mindset to identify project risks and develop appropriate solutions. Knowledge of financial operating metrics, short‑term cash management investment vehicles, and working capital best practices. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding and responding to their needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Travel requirements: not expected to require travel. Hybrid: work from home with reliable internet in a private setting, and from the office in a collaborative open‑office environment with private meeting spaces as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in data analysis through internships, academic coursework, or capstone projects. Strong verbal communication skills with a proven ability to illustrate data and present findings effectively to a team. Proficiency in Excel and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote). Interest in using AI‑powered tools and automation to improve efficiency and workflows. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a strong plus. Exposure to financial statements and topics such as working capital and cash conversion cycle through coursework, internships, or projects.
