Job Description Hiring 2nd Shift Trailer Assemblers in Carlisle, PA! Pay: $20 - $25 / Hour Shift: Monday - Thursday (2pm - 12am)

Job Description

The Trailer Assembler will be responsible for the final assembly of custom-designed, custom-made heavy haul trailers. This role involves using hand and power tools to work from blueprints and ensure the proper installation and assembly for the safe operation of our trailers. The position may require cross-training in paint preparation, blasting, and potentially welding/fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly of heavy haul trailers using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
• Install hydraulic fittings and control wiring.
• Conduct trailer alignment and installation of steering components and wheel systems.
• Handle pneumatic systems and trailer electric systems.
• Maintain proficiency with company standards on hose routing.
• Ensure proper crane usage and adhere to safety standards.

Essential Skills

• Ability to use and read a tape measure accurately.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Experience in hydraulics, electrical wiring, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints.
• Basic mechanical skills and general trailer functions knowledge.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
