Job Title: CNC Machinist / Programmer

Job Description

This role combines hands-on CNC machining and programming, focusing on Doosan and Haas mills and lathes with Fanuc controls in a fast-paced, high-mix machine shop. You will create and optimize G-code directly at the machine, perform full setups, run production, and ensure high-quality parts that support industries such as military, automation, robotics, and entertainment.

Preferred Experience:

• CNC programminig
• G-Code
• Lathe and Mill experience
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
• Exposure to CAM software and Mastercam programming
• Swiss machine experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills and lathes using G-code directly at the machine on Fanuc controls.
• Perform complete machine setups, including workholding, tooling selection, tool offsets, and probing.
• Create, edit, and optimize G-code programs to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cycle times.
• Set up and run vertical, horizontal, and 5-axis milling machines, including live tooling applications.
• Operate lathes and mills to produce precision parts while maintaining tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Verify part quality using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Carlisle, PA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
