Job Description As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Everett, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government location, you will screen visitors and belongings, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:30 AM - 05:00 PMTue08:30 AM - 05:00 PMWed08:30 AM - 05:00 PMThu08:30 AM - 05:00 PMFri08:30 AM - 05:00 PM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Screen individuals and belongings using approved screening equipment and procedures, reporting prohibited items, policy violations, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Verify access credentials and direct visitors to designated areas in accordance with established entry requirements. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns. Minimum Requirements: X-Ray screening experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
