Schedule Expectations

• Full-Time: 25+ visits/week
• Part-Time: 6+ visits/week
• PRN: 1 shift every 6 months

What You'll Do

• Evaluate & Plan Care: Conduct patient assessments, set meaningful functional goals, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver Impactful Therapy: Provide hands-on treatment to help children improve daily living skills, motor coordination, strength, and overall independence.
• Guide & Supervise: Direct and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to ensure seamless care execution.
• Educate & Empower: Teach families and caregivers home exercises, safety strategies, and adaptive equipment use to maintain progress.
• Track Outcomes: Complete timely EMR documentation and adjust treatment plans as children reach their milestones.

Qualifications

• License & Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, active Texas OT license, and passing score on the NBCOT exam.
• Health & Safety: Current CPR certification and a TB test (last 12 months) or chest X-ray (last 5 years).
• Travel: Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and willingness to travel within 20 miles of your home with a flexible schedule.
• Skills & Experience: Strong communication skills. Pediatric or home health experience and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are bonus perks—new grads are welcome!
