Job Summary:

Position Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Templeton CA 93465

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule: Day Shift, 5 x 8s, Mon-Friday, 8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch).

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs.

Pay rate : $35/hr.



Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare exam rooms and check in patients.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Report significant findings and patient observations to the provider.
• Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy as ordered.
• Perform audiometry and vision testing.
• Maintain patient recall systems, lab follow-ups, referrals, and continuity-of-care logs.
• Provide routine clinical and technical support under provider supervision.
• Perform other assigned clinical duties.

To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]

• Epic required.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience required.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• CMA, RMA, or equivalent experience preferred.
• BLS - Healthcare Provider required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Audiometry and vision testing training/certification preferred.
• Must understand sense of urgency , stay on task, and work efficiently in a busy primary-care setting.
• Must meet Adventist Health vaccination requirements; applicable medical/religious exemptions may apply.
