Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Our treatment philosophy is based on a team approach that treats patients with dignity and respect, while delivering high-quality care.

The Mental Health Tech provides direct care to children, adolescents and adult patients with psychiatric disorders, to ensure the safety and well being of the patients. MHTs have the primary responsibility for ensuring the patient's safety on the unit.

Qualifications Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation. Please visit the following link for more information: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Two years experience working in a psychiatric setting Handle with Care, Verbal De-escalation and CPR training (May be acquired after hire) Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills Team work

Hours: Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM (Rotating Weekends Required) / Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Rotating Weekends Required) Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations (Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM)
