Rowan College of Engineering Overview: The Department of Experiential Engineering Education (ExEEd) at Rowan University is seeking adjunct faculty with strong interest and qualified expertise in teaching introductory engineering and engineering design courses. The department’s anticipated needs in the upcoming semesters are the First‑Year and Sophomore Engineering Clinics—hands‑on, multidisciplinary courses taught in a team‑based, project‑oriented environment. Responsibilities Teach introductory engineering and engineering design courses, including the First‑Year and Sophomore Engineering Clinics. Prepare and deliver engaging, project‑based instruction in a team‑based learning environment. Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback. Participate in faculty collaboration and contribute to department initiatives. Qualifications Earned a Master of Science degree in an engineering discipline or closely related field. Prior teaching experience preferred. Demonstrated commitment to student learning and well‑being. Ability to promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship will be provided. Compensation & Benefits Minimum pay: $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits per academic year.
