Desktop Support Technician *HIRING ASAP*

Description PC Support Deliverables Monitor and track all incidents across all SNOW queues for North America. Diagnose and resolve incidents using documented procedures. Provide Monday–Friday 8‑hour day onsite technical support (on‑call and off‑hours when needed). Set up and implement new hire hardware. Test assets to ensure proper functionality. Install, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on laptops and desktops across North America. Manage Dell warranty and coordinate with Dell for replacement hardware. Asset Management Objective: To monitor and manage assets (laptops, printers, and peripherals) that support day‑to‑day operations at NA SITS sites. Deliverables Maintain inventory of Windows‑based assets and peripherals. Update hardware asset management records. Track Windows‑based assets. Depot – track assets per segment/site. Assign profiles and image assets. Replace end‑of‑life hardware. Perform break/fix repairs based on warranty status. Handle new hire and business segment moves. Ship and deliver new hires, replacements, segment moves, leavers, and inactive asset support. Report standard in/out stock inventory status of replacement and depot assets. Manage disposal of hardware. PC Lifecycle Procure through disposal. Refresh hardware as part of the lifecycle. Provide software support and installation. Imaging OS on computers. Deploy software via automated tools and manual installs. Install and test desktop software applications and browsers. Support iOS systems and mobile apps. Procure and install approved software. Audio/Visual Support Maintain and test windows‑based AV systems. Troubleshoot or reimage AV systems when needed. Train users on scheduling meetings and conference‑room software/hardware. Provide full executive meeting support. Conduct quality control and conference‑room health checks. Coordinate third‑party vendors for updating, installing, and warranty work of AV equipment. Provide live support for town‑hall conferences. Troubleshoot wall‑mounted EVOKOS devices. Network Infrastructure Support Replace server hardware. Procure and install HDD replacements for servers. Procure servers, racks, and stacks. Smart Hands & Core Services Depot services. OS imaging and software installation. Deliver hardware and peripherals to customers. Advanced replacement of hardware components for break/fix incidents escalated to the depot queue. Coordinate refresh/replacement for North America users. Manage assets for several segments. Coordinate third‑party vendors (partners) and services such as Digital Genius Sessions, MS Teams. Support definitions and Okta expectations. Project Support Objective: Provide project‑management support for out‑of‑scope operations requests. Oversee successful completion of projects. Set milestones, adhere to deadlines, and allocate resources. Delegate tasks to the TekSystems NA support team. Suggest effective options for project progression. Serve as a liaison between management and team. Manage scope, schedule, risk, quality, and resources. Oversee end‑to‑end operations. Benefits Collaboration improvement.
