Desired Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of OT best practices within educational environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and team members
• Strong organization and case management abilities to handle varied caseloads
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and develop targeted treatment strategies to promote student success
• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support integration of therapy into academic routines
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student progress and therapy recommendations
• Collaborate to create therapeutic activities that foster independence and support academic and daily living skills
• Adjust therapy approaches to meet students’ changing needs throughout the school year
