Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting by providing occupational therapy services to students in a supportive school environment on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a focus on elementary-aged children, with the flexibility to engage with a broader age range should you desire a full-time schedule. You’ll support students in developing critical skills for academic and personal growth, collaborate with staff, and play a key role in the educational team.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid OT license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and students.
• Flexible approach—comfortable managing both elementary caseloads and, if full time, some middle school students.
• Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing student needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy services within elementary classrooms (and middle school students for full time).
• Document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school guidelines.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student participation and performance.
• Suggest and implement strategies, modifications, and accommodations to facilitate student access and success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
