Job Title: Driver Manager Job Number: 261846 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 a.m.-2 p.m. (1st Shift) Primary Location Kent, WA Job Overview Schneider is seeking a Driver Manager in Kent, WA to ensure successful execution of customer freight delivery through effective driver management. The Driver Manager will act as a link between the business, our drivers and customers. Responsibilities Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Balance the needs of our customers, drivers, and the business. Provide continuous, structured, and proactive performance management and coaching to drivers. Manage driver payroll and home time. Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention and drive business. Skills and qualifications Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Able to work collaboratively with a variety of teams, both internally and externally. Pay and benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance.
