Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist – Tonasket, Washington Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio invites qualified candidates to join as a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Tonasket, Washington. The role requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Job Details Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: 12‑hour nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans. Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders. Perform diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity or collecting sputum samples. Treat patients using chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and other methods. Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery. Observe and record patient status and progress. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate care. Educate patients and families on medication and equipment use. Perform additional duties as assigned within RRT scope. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC. Valid respiratory therapy license in the state of Washington. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications ACLS or PALS certification (AHA/ARC). Any additional certifications or licenses relevant to the position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking). Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; PC proficiency. Physical stamina to remain stationary, move equipment up to 100 lbs, push, pull, and bend. Professionalism and ability to work effectively with diverse personnel. Fine motor skills for procedure assistance and equipment use. Coping with frequent public contact, meeting deadlines under pressure, occasional close supervision.
