Associate II - Support Services Housekeeper

Overview: Join a dedicated Support Services team committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across healthcare facilities in the Midwest region. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a thorough seven-step cleaning process to uphold cleanliness and safety standards in assigned areas, including patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and common spaces.
• Perform routine and project cleaning tasks such as dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, linen changes, and supply replenishment.
• Manage linen processing duties: sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.
• Inspect surgical linens for defects, perform necessary repairs, and ensure proper packaging according to case specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned equipment, reporting any repair needs promptly.
• Adhere to departmental policies, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance, including infection control and emergency preparedness.
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations by interacting with all customers respectfully and compassionately.
• Support teamwork by collaborating with peers, communicating effectively, and assisting with unassigned tasks as needed.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, and maintenance needs promptly to supervisors.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or related support services is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work the 2nd shift, typically 3pm to 11pm, full-time.
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and privacy standards.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and departmental meetings.
