Work Environment

This position is based in The Villages, Florida, where you will provide onsite treatment in the comfort of patients' homes. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, requiring a 40-hour work schedule. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs and developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to diverse patient needs, ensuring optimal outcomes and adherence to physician directives.
• Providing hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional training, aimed at restoring mobility and function.
• Consulting with and educating patients and their caregivers about their conditions, therapeutic processes, and strategies for continued improvement beyond formal therapy.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress in compliance with legal and professional standards while meeting organizational utilization and productivity goals.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service in all interactions to contribute positively to the patient experience and clinic atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient base will primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and sports injuries. You may also encounter pediatric patients, neurologic cases, and athletes, allowing you to apply your skills across a wide range of specialties. This diverse exposure will enrich your expertise and enable you to deliver targeted care that meets the specific needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE accredited program.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with patients.
• Adept in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer applications.
• A strong desire to build relationships within the community and positively impact patient lives.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or home health settings is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package is designed to support your overall well-being and includes:
