Customer Account and Operations Coordinator

Position: Customer Account and Operations Coordinator Location: Mansfield, OH Job Id: 362 # of Openings: 1 Job Summary: Responsible for managing and delivering exceptional customer experience for assigned accounts while supporting efficient operational workflows across multiple departments. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring prompt, accurate communication and on‑time execution of customer needs, while also partnering with internal teams—including Customer Service, Pack, Estimating, and Administrative Operations—to drive process efficiency and overall organizational success. Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, delivering exceptional service through prompt, accurate communication and proactive account management. Manage customer orders and requests from initiation through completion, including order entry, acknowledgements, scheduling coordination, delivery updates, quality concerns, and issue resolution to ensure customer satisfaction and on‑time fulfillment. Take ownership of customer priorities and independently resolve challenges while managing production timelines, special projects, and service‑related escalations. Coordinate key account activities including quoting, sampling, art approvals (AFA), new item setup, inventory support, and related documentation to support operational readiness. Partner cross‑functionally with Customer Service, Pack, Estimating, Accounting, and Operations teams to support workflow efficiency, production readiness, and continuous process improvement. Support front‑office operations by serving as a professional first point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, and general inquiries while maintaining a welcoming and organized workplace environment. Prepare and maintain reports, records, billing support, office systems, supplies, mail distribution, and other administrative processes to ensure smooth daily operations. Provide clerical and administrative support across departments, including onboarding preparation, internal communications, and additional operational support as assigned by leadership. Identify, develop, and support standardized processes and best practices that enhance both customer experience and internal operational efficiency. Help create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). Partner with leadership to improve team performance and operational efficiency. Work collaboratively across departments to ensure company goals are met.
