Job Description As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Gretna, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. At a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized entry to loading areas, warehouses, offices, and other restricted locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that may require a security‑related response. Assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery check‑in processes, maintain accurate access records, and follow site procedures for vehicle entry and exit at gates and dock areas. Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
